IMPORTANT - school calendar change. Chinese New Year party has been rescheduled to Feb. 4. The school will have classes on Jan. 21.

We’ll have a lot of new activities in this year’s Chinese New Year party on Feb. 4, 2-7PM at Brooklawn Middle School, including students performances, games; we’ll also provide variety of snacks and traditional Chinese sticky rice ball. Tickets are on sale starting this Saturday for $5 each (children under 2 are free). Tickets can be bought from class parent or in cafeteria 2. Price will go higher on or after Jan 28.

MCA Reading Contest will start in the coming weeks. Parent volunteers are needed to serve as judges. Details will be communicated by class teachers.

Tao Yuan restaurant will come to sell food in cafeteria 1.

校历变化： 原定1月21日举行的春节晚会，现改在2月4日举行元宵猜谜晚会。请您注意：

1) 1月21日照常上课

2) 2月4日不上课，下午2--7pm在Brooklawn Middle School举行元宵猜谜晚会。本周开始在咖啡厅售票，票价$5/人，1月28日起$10/人（鼓励提早定票）。各班家庭联络员先到家长会领票，然后按班级售票。

晚会正在如火如荼地准备当中，届时将有学生精彩演出，有奖猜谜活动分为高中低年级组和成人组，并提供当场现煮的美味元宵。期待着与您欢聚一堂。

华夏奔腾朗读比赛将在未来几周进行，班级比赛需要家长做评委，细节将由老师通知。
