Classroom change this week, classes in 512, 514 will be moved to 508 and 510.

Students from our school participated Huaxia Speech Contest last week and all of them placed in top 4 of their levels. Congratulations to all students and parents.

We’ll have a lot of new activities in this year’s Chinese New Year party on Feb. 4, 2-7PM at Brooklawn Middle School (250 Beachwood Road, Parsippany, NJ07054), including students performances, games; we’ll also provide variety of snacks and traditional Chinese sticky rice ball. Tickets are on sale starting this Saturday for $5 each (children under 2 are free). Tickets can be bought from class parent or in cafeteria 2. Price will go higher to $10 on or after Jan 28.

We’d like to remind parents that drop-off / pick-up is not allowed on the side road by 600 and 700 wings. Everyone must obey the instruction of on-duty parents. Violators will have their license plate recorded. Repeated violations will subject to further actions.

We urge all parents to remind their child not to touch anything in the classrooms that is not related to our teaching. We have received complaints from high school that some materials in the classroom were messed up or missing. This could jeopardize our relationship with high school, therefore post challenge for us to use the facility in the long term. We appreciate your support.

我校学生于1月14日上午在李文斯顿分校举行的“2012年华夏朗诵演讲比赛”中取得傲人的好成绩，特此感谢各位老师的推荐，感谢各位家长的辛苦，感谢同学们的努力，特别感谢吴丽雅老师的培训，各位辛苦了！下面是一二三年级组参赛名单和获奖情况：

校历变化： 原定1月21日举行的春节晚会，现改在2月4日举行元宵猜谜晚会。请您注意：

1) 1月21日照常上课

2) 2月4日不上课，下午2--7pm在Brooklawn Middle School (250 Beachwood Road, Parsippany, NJ07054) 举行元宵猜谜晚会。本周开始在咖啡厅售票，票价$5/人，1月28日起$10/人（鼓励提早定票）。

晚会正在如火如荼地准备当中，届时将有学生精彩演出，有奖猜谜活动分为高中低年级组和成人组，并提供当场现煮的美味元宵。期待着与您欢聚一堂。

我们要求家长不能在600和700教室门外的路上停车drop-off / pick-up。 每个人都必须听从值班家长的指挥。不听指挥者将被记下车牌，对屡犯者学校将采取进一步措施。

学校恳请每位家长提醒自己的孩子学校里与中文教学无关的东西一律不能动。我们最近收到高中老师的反应有些教室里的东西被翻乱了或弄丢了。这将影响我们与高中的关系。谢谢大家合作。
